As Vice President of Workforce Programs, Danita Ramos oversees the team and the day-to-day operations of Bitwise’s apprenticeship programs that help underestimated cities develop a diverse local workforce and helps underserved people reach their potential through discovery, hard work, and individualized attention. She also collaborates with new and existing partners to create programs for both pre-apprentice students and apprenticeship pathways. “With our guidance and training, in a community where everyone belongs, we build a diverse pipeline of students and apprentices. I couldn’t be more proud of the work we do,” says Danita. She also works alongside Bitwise’s government, philanthropy, and revenue teams to create programs for new and existing clients.
Previously, Danita spent ten years in public education, serving students from rural Fresno as a classroom teacher and also as Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment at Monroe Elementary. She has experience in curriculum framework design and integrated teaching and learning. She holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies and a master’s degree in administrative services.
